With its resplendent snow-capped mountains, dazzling waterfalls and sparkling streams, Lachung has rightly been described as the most picturesque village of Sikkim. The Yumthang Valley is known for its several varieties of flowers that bloom year through. And finally, the serene town Darjeeling is known throughout the world for the tea it grows and the toy train that is a UN World Heritage. |

Itinerary (Darjeeling - Gangtok - Lachung) |

Day 1: NJP Rly Stn/Bagdogra Airport–Gangtok (about 125 kms/4 hrs) |
|
Meet & Greet assistance at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station/Bagdogra Airport and get transferred to Gangtok. On arrival, check into hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Stay overnight at hotel. |

Day 2: Gangtok (Trip to Tsomgo Lake) |
|
In the morning, visit the highly revered Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) located 34 km from Gangtok city & Baba Harbhajan Singh Memorial. Stay overnight at hotel. |

Day 3: Gangtok - Lachung (about 117 kms/6 hrs) |
|
After breakfast, depart (at 9.00 am) for Lachung (altitude 8610 ft). En route stop over at Singhik View Point,Seven Sisters Water Fall, (Lunch at Namak) and Naga Water Fall (tea break at Chungthang). Arrive at Lachung in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel. |

Day 4: Lachung – Yumthang Excursion (24 km. & 11,800 ft) |
|
Early morning, depart to Yumthang Valley or Valley of Flowers. Yumthang is known as the summer grazing ground of the Yaks & winter playgrounds of Yetis. Also visit Hot Springs on your way back, which are believed to have medicinal properties. Return to resort for lunch and interact with the locals in the afternoon. Stay overnight at hotel. |

Day 5: Lachung - Gangtok (about 117 kms/6 hrs) |

A fter breakfast, depart (8.00 am) for Gangtok, en route viewing the Bheema & Twin Falls. On arrival, check into your hotel for overnight stay. |

Day 6: Gangtok - Darjeeling (About 98 Kms /4 hrs). |
|
After early breakfast, enjoy a half day sightseeing around Gangtok, visiting Rumtek Monastery, Flower Show,Botanical Garden, Do-Drul Chorten, Institute of Tibetology, and Cottage Industry. After lunch, transfer toDarjeeling. On arrival, check into your hotel for overnight stay. |

Day 7: Darjeeling (local sightseeing) |
|
Leave early morning (04.00 AM) to visit Tiger Hill for splendid views of sunrise over Mount Kanchenjunga, the Third Highest Peak in the World. On your way back, visit places like Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After breakfast, sightseeing includes Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (closed on Thursday), the Tenzing Rock, the Tibetan Refugee Centre (closed on Sunday), Tea Garden (outer view) and the Japanese Temple. Spend the evening walking around the Mall. Stay overnight at hotel. |

Day 8: Darjeeling – NJP Rly. Stn./Bagdogra Airport (about 90 kms/3 hrs) |

Spend the morning at leisure. Transfer in time to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport for your return journey. |
