Itinerary (Kargil - Leh - Uleytokpo - Nubra) |

Day 1: Srinagar - Kargil |
|
After early breakfast, depart for Kargil (204 kms), driving through Sonamarg. Halt at Sonamarg Glacier Restaurant for lunch. Post lunch depart for Kargil & check into hotel on arrival. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel. |

Day 2: Kargil - Uleytokpo (70 kms - One way / 3040 mtrs) |
|
Depart for Uleytokpo via Namiki-la (12,200 ft.), Mulbekh where you can see a Chamba statue carved out of a single rock measuring about 144 ft. high, over Fatu-la (13,489 ft.), which is the highest pass on Srinagar-Leh road. Also visit Lamayuru Monastery, which is one of the oldest monasteries in Ladakh. On arrival at Uleytokpo, check into resort for dinner and overnight stay. |

Day 3: Uleytokpo - Leh |
|
After refreshments early morning, visit Rizong Monastery, which has a monastery as well as nunnery. Return to camp for breakfast. Depart for Leh, en route visiting Phyang Monastery (17 kms from Leh), which was built by Tashi Namgyal in 16th century AD and belongs to the Red Cap Sect of Buddhists. Have an early lunch and continue to Leh. On arrival, check into hotel and spend the day at leisure. Stay overnight at hotel. |

Day 4: Leh -Pangong (290 km Oneway) |
|
After early breakfast, transfer to Pangong Lake. Pass through Changla Pass (5486 mtrs) and enjoy the views of the villages below the pass. En route a picnic lunch is organised at Tsoltak, the summer pastureland of the yaks. Arrive at Durbuk and take another short drive to the western shore of the lake. Post dinner, stay overnight at hotel / camp in Pangong. |

Day 5: Leh - Pangong - Leh |
|
Spend the day at leisure, enjoying the scenic views of the Pangong Lake. It is 5/6 Kms wide and over 144 kms with around half of the water body falling under China. Return to Leh for dinner and overnight stay. |

Day 6: Leh - Nubra (155 Kms One way) |
|
After early breakfast, depart for Nubra Valley. En route pass through Horzey & Gangles Village. Move on toKhardungla Pass (5602 Mts.) the World's Highest Motorable Road to enjoy a bird's-eye view of the Leh town. Stop for a picnic lunch at Khardong village and proceed another 35 kms to Khalsar at Shyok Valley, which is known for its natural beauty. Cross the Khalsar Bridge at Shyok River and enter Nubra Valley. Proceed by the Nubra River by afternoon to arrive at Tegar, or Kyegar as it is locally called. All meals and overnight stay in tents at Lhari-Mo North Camp at Sumur OR at Tirith Camp at Tirith. In the afternoon, visit Panamik Hot Springs, which are knowns for their rich sulphur content. Dinner and overnight stay at the camp. |

Day 7: Nubra - Leh |
|
After breakfast at camp, depart for Leh, stopping en route for picnic lunch. On arrival, check into hotel and spend the afternoon at leisure. Stay overnight at hotel. |

Day 8: Leh - Delhi |
|
Transfer to Leh Airport for return journey. |
